February 3, 1885 - Arrive in Auckland

The voyage from Sydney to Auckland took took 4 days and 15 minutes, which was reportedly the fastest passage on record.

Since the ship was in port for only a  few hours  a party of passengers took a tour to the top of Mount Eden.
